I'm certaining no techie but this should help....

Seem thats all of the fonts do not have the cent sign available within them. I'm guessing that the last time you did this you were using a different font.

Try using Albertus Medium and typing Alt and 0162.

You can see which fonts have which characters available to them by going to
START, PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, CHARACTER MAP.

This will give you a complete screen for every font in your system. Just clink on which character you want to use... and the "secret code" will appear in the box in the lower right hand corneer of the displayed box.

You will see more character than you will ever use... All kind of scientific characters, etc. But there is also the British Pound symbol and other useful things.

BTW, this infor is for a PC, I don't know about the Mac.
