Hi Michele,
James C. here, the one that wrote a book. I am really glad to see you on here getting some input by others. This is good stuff for this board to talk about. I don't recall offering you $25 a piece but do recall giving you info. that your great find of Dunes chips would sell well at $50. Has onyone offered $25 each times 400? Not many will spend that kind of money on chips that take awhile to sell. As I explained there are not enough collectors (of roulettes) to support the price of $150 ea. for nearly 200 chips. If these were sold at $50 then moved up to $75 or $100 as you sell off some then more could enjoy a fair deal on these & be excited to collect more. When the price starts high & then drops as on the blue-grey issue the ones who paid $200 plus then see them offered at around $125 ( I believe this to be the low end selling price) aren't to thrilled. I know you are not a chip dealer & therefore don't need to make "points" with collectors as I like to do. John Benedict has great chip marketing abilities, as well as Rene. He keeps the prices going up. I see they have responded as well as other collector/dealers as myself. All the best. James.
