I know this is late and most people have probably heard enough about the convention but I'm just catching up and wanted to include my appreciation and thanks. I had a wonderful time at the show and was like a kid in a candy store. I'm sorry to all the dealers that I wasn't able to buy from... I'll know to bring more money next year. Although I did increase my collection by 50% so I guess I didn't do too bad! <vbg> I suspect I won't be able to say that ever again unless I hit the lottery.

I thought the Orleans was a great location and hope they don't move it next year (esp. hope it's not the Tropicana like I've heard rumors as I've heard bad stories about the rooms and won't stay there). We later stayed at the Mirage and except for some extra glitz, I rate the two hotels equivalent and maybe the Orleans higher for better laid out room, better buffet and better gambling... for half the price.

I was worried that my wife wasn't going to be able to find things to do or would lose all her money the first day but she won enough money on video poker (after studying for 2 months!) to come home with more money than she left home with (note that we left on the 25th and didn't have great luck after we left the Orleans). Along with the free buffet dinner, room comps, cash back, etc. she didn't seem to miss me all that much. <g>

Met all sorts of great people, both that I knew online already and some new ones. I wish I had been able to meet more but hopefully next year. Last but not least, I can't thank the people that were involved in running this convention enough. It went so smooth I never noticed! I'm sure they were all working like crazy but I couldn't tell (which is how it should be). Thanks so much for giving me four wonderful days.

Can't wait until next year!!! Counting down the months! What a wonderful hobby. For those who didn't make it, try next year.... there's something for everyone.
