Hi John. When conducting a search there are usually 2 symbols I use. First use the asterisk (*). When this produces unwieldy long output, I then pare it down by use of the minus (-) sign.
For example, I might search using LV for Las Vegas chips. In order to eliminate silver strikes I'd go to the search box and add " -silver -strike* -.999 " so my search would look like: LV -silver -strike* -.999. You can keep subtracting from your search to get precisely what you want. BTW, eBay shows all the different Boolean operators that can be used.
