Frank and brother Rocky Sennes Were the booking agents for the DI from the day it opened until Howard Huges bought it in 1967.
Frank was the boss and Rocky ran the "Casting Couch"
One of Frank and Rocky's 1st bookings was done at the Arrowhead Club in Branch Hill Ohio back in the 30's. They also booked the acts for the other 2 big illegals in the area, The lookout House and Beverly Hills up until they closed in the late 50's.
They also owned the Mt Charleston Lodge in Vegas. Frank was an extremly good golfer.
I wonder if you are reading the name on the picture right or maybe the writer made a mistake.
I doubt if Frank auditioned the lady in the picture. Black entertainers in LV were rare in those years. There is a good chance that Rocky auditioned her.<g>
