Hi Chuck. I don't have to check your auctions. I've bought from you already (as well as many others on the board). For some reason, I don't have a problem with the dealer who puts up a live $1 chip for $2-$3 and winds up getting $15-$20 (unless of course the bidders were in any way misled as to what they were bidding on). I have more of a problem when the opening bid is $5, even if the final bid is $5. Somehow, and its hard to explain, an opening bid of $5 on a live $1 chip tends to mislead some people (the uneducated, for the most part).I'm not picking on anyone in particular, its just seems people on the board are more quick to show outrage when a dealer is cheated in some way so that he makes less of a profit on an item than a poor schnook buyer paying through the nose. Earlier I mention a case on eBay where a bidder paid $36 (I think) for a Mirage Sigfried & Roy chip. For the most part it was a 'caveat emptor', "maybe it was worth it to him", or "that's how we learn". There was very little sympathy for this guy. I would wage that those responses came from fellow dealers. I guess I'm starting to ramble on ..
