Thoughts on LE issues...
If I was an enterprising employee of a casino promotional/public relations department, I would consider the following (subject to existing gaming commision laws):
Look into the possibility of offering the LE's my casino issues to subscribers. This way, the average collector gets what they want & the remainder go to whoever "pops up" at the cage. My casino wins in that they expand their customer base with loyal & grateful people who would be odds on favorites to stay in my hotel when they come to town.
The mailings I receive to stay at properties lack the "meat & potato" punch to get me to go. If they had a stack of LE's waiting for me when I arrived, that would be of interest. Of course I would have to pay face for them (gladly) and the property would be out no more than a cost of a stamp.
In so many words, the properties are aware of chippers...they should consider adding them to their customer base in a meaningful way. Perhaps, this will occurr once the "family" base shifts to another hot spot.
