The type of business that I have personal experience in looking to buy, owning, and selling is nightclubs/lounges. The profit margins are high in one that's well run, but it needs to be done hands on. Employees can literally give the place away if you let them. ...and you have to worry about every jerk that walks in the door. He looks sober ordering the 1st drink, then is falling on the floor half way through it. Cut him off, he goes out and kills someone in a car accident, and who gets sued? Not the place that got him drunk. It's that last place that sold him a drink. Way too much liability for my blood, been out of that biz for almost 15 years and don't miss it at all.
