Thanks for the exhibit comments, Bob! First attempt I've made at exhibits for the club, although I did do a chip exhibit for a local coin show to try to introduce them to chip collecting a couple of years ago.

Since selection of the best display was by 'peoples choice', the exhibits with lots of variety and a stylish presentation tend to win over those that present collecting history and detail. Not a complaint; just the way it is. I liked the ashtrays and mathcovers too!

If the club site is going to have pages for educational web pages, I'd consider scanning the chips and adding captions. This exhibit was kind of designed on the spot in a couple of hours the day before the show opened. I printed up a lot of the descriptive material in advance and took the pages with me, along with a pair of scissors. Exhibit design consisted of trial and error layout and cutting the text to fit in the display cases. I have to say, I enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't have carried the project through to completion if Janice hadn't pushed me <g>.
