To compare the above topic on Boyd purchasing Blue Chip casino how about buying the Isle of Capri chain? There are about 24,000,000 outstanding shares currently priced at under $7 per share for a total value of $164,000,000 which is less than Boyd is paying for one casino. I have not been able to find out how much long term debt they have. The Isle of Capri runs 6 casinos and will open another soon. I personally have never been impressed with their properties but with the right management this has to be a gold mine. Keep in mind that Bellagio and Venetian each cost over $1.5 billion to build. I think Circus paid more than that for the Hacienda and then blew it up.<G> Anyone feel like making a run at owning some casinos?
