I don't have time or the inclination to go back and find the exact wording, but it seems to me we were asked to move club business to the club BBS. Our leaders would not respond to club matters here. Now we are told that online forum has no official status, and is merely a convenience for the online membership to communicate. I'm sorry but I don't have the time to follow two boards with a lot of duplicate posts. If our leadership won't go where the chippers hang out, and communicate with them there in a friendly, "unofficial" manner, we need new leadership.
Frankly, not meaning to derate anyone's hard work, but I like the layout of Greg's board better. The CC>CC board never remembers my name or image, and has an awkward threading method that won't let me go to previous posts or posts in a different subthread once I'm in a thread. It doesn't know how many times a post is read. I could go on. If Greg wasn't providing this forum, the club board would be needed and welcome. Two BBSs for the same crowd aren't. I suggest either Greg get voted in as webmaster (or webmaster's assistant) for the club - again no disrespect meant to the current hardworking volunteer maintaining that site, just my personal opinion and observations - or put a link on the club home page to Greg's board.
I just think it would be a lot better for everyone to have one online forum for everyone to use, esp. since the club BBS has NO official status.
