James, I won't get involved into attacks of a personal nature over your book, but in offering comments strictly about the book itself, I am absolutely against a grading system for chips. Judging by comments on this board, perhaps you should realize that a high percentage of collectors feel the same way. It seems that much (or all) of the support your grading ideas are receiving are coming from either dealers or otherwise "deep pockets" guys who might benefit from chip prices being higher due to the influence of your book.
One of your posted replies of Monday morning to someone, included this comment. "I don't feel you deserve to read our accomplishment of producing the finest quality book this hobby will ever see." I might wonder about the last part of that statement. I'd have to vote for The Chip Rack #6 as "the finest chip book I have seen." TCR is an absolute "must" for Nevada collectors, and despite the hours or work that you and Steve may have put into your project, I am afraid that I can't give the same accolades to your "official" book.
