How can most of you be against something you don't have any information on?
Open your minds a little. You don't want to open your pocket books & pay
for something & then not get what you bargained for do you? It has happened to me & I have seen it happen on $5 chips as well as chips over $1,000. It has happened to me in our own club auction & no recourse could be taken by me.
Ok it's buyer beware. Do you buy a car without driving it? Do you check your
food before eating it, or buying? You must admit you look at your chips before
putting them in your collection then. I see it doesn't matter much if you
are trading cheap chips, under say $5 or current. It of course matters on
more expensive chips & most of us add one of those to our collections every
now & then. My conclusion is that all who are against only collect cheaper chips. (I am not knocking this so I don't want to see posts about me knocking
what someone collects).Those that collect more expensive chips do want to
know what they are buying! GUARANTEED! I collect & deal in these & I know
what I am talking about.
I wish everyone would read or reread Mr. Don Leuders post. He makes sense!

We do need terminology & not just meaningless initials of VG GD whatever that means. A dictionary would be useless if it only had words & no meaning. Words
are useless without meanings. We need a common terminology.
Be against it all you want but the future will prevail what becomes accepted.
This is only a guide to help, we are not, as we have said before; forcing anyone
to use anything! We know it will ultimately help for all collectors to understand each other & not get taken, especially on chips you lay out your
