You know, the personal comments and comparisons with The Chip Rack notwithstanding, it should be clear to everyone that Campiglia and Wells' new price guide is a welcome addition to any chip collector's library, and for its price (a measly $30 or so, the price of a mediocre chip) is a must-buy bargain book. It would be foolish for a chip collector not to own it. The 50 or so page introduction is interesting food for thought. The rarity-condition-price info. is very valuable for comparisons with other price guides: if they agree on a chip, it is comforting; if they disagree, it will encourage one to investigate further. The book has to save collectors’ money. If nothing else, as the prices are higher than other guides, the book can be a good bargaining chip when selling or promoting a chip.
