While strolling through my local flea market, a fellow offered me a box of what appeared to me to be marblized catalin chips. He said he bought them in the 70's in Ireland. Don't know if they were new at the time. I think there were 4 denominations. Besides listing the denomination (1, 5, 10, 25 I think), they had different colors as well as different shapes (small round, rectangular, square, and large round). Are these type chips common. Do they have any real value. He said he paid $75. Looks like about 200 chips (I didn't count or ask). Any help out there?
