Chuck ---- I am going to post here two things I have previously told you via private email:
1) I favor a change in the procedures for selecting the Chip and Token of the Year which would widen participation (perhaps even including online voting on the club website).
2) Nevertheless, this year's Chip of the Year vote was fair and square. Certain rules were established and they were followed. The best chip won by a substantial margin.
You are doing yourself no favors, my friend, berating everyone on this subject. In fact, I think you have reached the point that you are hurting your own credibility. I think you would accomplish more by addressing the subject to the board and/or the COTY chairman via private email or regular mail, making whatever suggestions you think appropriate for changing the procedures for the 1999 COTY voting.
