Isn't it funny how when you are working on your collection, you can relate every detail of a chip, but when you're playing at the table, they are just pretty pieces of plastic that you can turn in later for cash <g>.

I sometimes try to remember what chips were used in some of the clubs I've played in over the years prior to 1994 when I started collecting; only ones that stick in my mind are the brass core chips at Harveys and Harrahs. All the rest are a blur.
