While this may not interest many casino chip collectors, it was quite a thrill for me to finally find another new old generic poker chip design........As most of you know, it is getting incredibly harder to find stuff out there. It has been a long drought.
You can see it below. I found 18 yellows and 22 whites. I'll put a few on eBay and hold most of the rest for trading.
I'd appreciate it if someone could identify the crest. It is interesting that I "discovered" a somewhat similar mother-of-pearl chip years ago -- "ex candore decus" (it means "from sincerity/truthfulness/simplicity comes greatness" or something like that), which has a goose atop a knight's helmet. This one has a dog's head atop a knight's helmet.
One other point. This engraved chip is very unusual in that it is 1-3/8 inches diameter, not the usual 1-4/8 or 1-9/16 inches.
