Archie,
Just know please that some of us think you have and are doing an admirable job.
I've never nominated a chip for COTY and I've never thought twice about not being able to vote on it. Made sense to me. Maybe changes should be made to the process if enough of the membership wants it. But before that happens, I'd like to know just how many members took the time to fill out and return the ballots for nomination and election of officers and how many members took the time to complete the ballots for changing the nomination process. That might give a better indicator of how justified putting a ballot out to all members might be.After all, if membership didn't feel that an issue as to the leadership of the club wasn't important enough to vote for, I certainly don't think a chip will be. Actually, I'd hope it wouldn't be! Talk about warped priorities....
As for the "don't let it die" attitude that's being exhibited on the BB AFTER the fact....I'm not going to read any more COTY posts. I've had more than my fill of the sour grapes (and yes, I think that's exactly what it is. Has been since the whole "tiger" chip stuff started) and don't care to taste anymore.
JMO -
