Hi James,
No one is being negative about "your" book. People express opinions. I paid for your books and bought the right to voice my opinion. Voicing an opinion is something you have to understand - it is part of publishing. It goes with the terriority. It doesn't mean someone is being negative "about you". I was responding to Lueder's remarks and opinions. Remarks that I believe create a false impression as to accuracy in pricing of your book versus TCR. In my opinion, "your" book is no more accurate or less accurate than TCR. This is an opinion James not negative but one that I believe is truthful. I will voice my opinion anytime I wish. Just like you. Why be so sensitive about it?
In my opinion there is no such thing as an "expert". There are only individuals who know more about certain subjects than others. If you wish to hold yourself out as an expert that is fine with me. However, in my opinion, you would do much better just to drop that word from your vocabulary. Let your knowledge and experience speak for themselves. Writing a book doesn't give you or anyone the right to be insulting or tell someone whether they can express an opinion or not.
You will find that if you express yourself in a more friendly attitude people, such as myself, would be more than happy to share information with you. No one wants to share anything with someone who feels everything one says about your book is negative. Go back and read what I have said. I, with my opinion, helped sell more of your books. Learn to accept others who don't agree with you.
You, my friend make mistakes!!! We all do. I am not looking to get into a war of words with you over your book. I don't have to prove anything. Since you wrote a book - YOU, when questioned, have to stand behind everything you wrote.<g> Have a good day, James and don't be so sensitive. Best, Jim
