I posted the following to the CC & GTCC Board & wanted to post it here too..........

To all Board members: I think it is time for something to be put in the dealer's contract that they sign! EVERY year that I have been at the Convention (this is my 4th) SOME dealers start packing up & leaving before the closing time of the show which we all know is 4:00 P.M. If the closing time of the show is 4:00 P.M. then the dealer's should have their stock out & ready to sell & not running around packing up or even worse GONE. It's not fair to the collectors nor does it look good for the club to advertise a 4:00 P.M. closing & have some NON members coming in to check things out & the floor is half empty. I'm not alone on this, I talked to at least 10 people & ALL 10 said they felt the same way. If, as a dealer, you can't stay until closing or keep from packing up early then let another dealer have your table in the future! I don't want to hear how it might be slow at that time or you need to hit the road or ANY excuse for that matter. 4:00 P.M. should mean just that & not ANY earlier.......Andy - Las Vegas
