I must admit that Jim defined the word "TRUTH" better than I did.
BOY, it pained me to say that!
The truth is Rene, you took preliminary and unproven information and tried to sell the chips for $550, without even buying them. No chipper would pay out that kind of money without proof. I have grave doubts they would pay that much after the proof is submitted. In my opinion you have tainted the chip. Many chippers will remember this on going thread and never see the "TRUTH" when it is printed.
I believe you have done a big dis-service to the owner of the chips. "TRUTH"
I also challenge the statement you made, that, "you priced them before you knew more existed" You heard on day one, the same as I did, that somewhere there was more of them. You just did not know where. "TRUTH" I also told you in person, the day you met Jim P at the Fiesta " I had not seem them but I "KNEW" quite a few more existed". BTW, this was day 3 of the search. "TRUTH"
I also challenge the fact that you seen the pictures. Only 2 have been out of my sight. One was mailed to Michael Knapp and one was given to Bill Akeman for the article. "TRUTH"
"TRUTH" Rene, the meaning of the word has escaped you. I can send you to several other dealers, or at least they used to be dealers, to learn the meaning of the word "Truth".
I am sorry if I am being hard on you, but I am afraid that I fall on the right wing with old "RADICAL" Jim P, when the "TRUTH" in chip collecting is at stake.
I have stayed out of the talk about price so far, but Jim has told you from day one, THE CHIPS ARE NOT WORTH $550. I have silently agreed from day one.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE "TRUTH" you have nothing!!!
