I am reluctant to trade at the show or even the Las Vegas Club's monthly meetings as I believe I'm still a novice at this. Guess I'll still gunshy because of the Las Vegas trader that took me for a ride. But using the Chip Rack (I only collect Nevada chips) seems to make the playing field even. However, there are a lot of people out there with whom I've traded over the internet or in person that I feel very confortable with. And to give credit where credit is due, I'll mention a few. Gene Trimble - always get more than I give, Andy Hughes - never traded but great prices, Chuck Smorse - as honest and fair as can be, the dynamic duo of Janice and Jerry O'Neil - sold me last years convention chip at face when dealers were charging much more, Steve Soden - great trades and great prices when I have nothing to trade, Joe Shaw - again I get more than I give. And, there are a lot more. Through trades I've managed to build a fairly good collection. Trades are fun but only when both people are honest.
