Gene, how would you explain to play in a hold-em game to a novice in such short notice? As Andy says, tournament play is quite different because of the time elements, but I would like to hear better advice regarding starting hands to someone completely unfamiliar with poker but who may be a blackjack player. Remember, I am assuming that the person (whomever he might be,) is not going to have time to read any books and is literally a goldfish swimming with a bunch of sharks.
