The game is easy. The ettiquite and other aspects of personal demeanor can trip you up. I played a few times in a very friendly game at Artichokes in Carson City. Just as an example, you can get your head bit off if you call and raise in two different gestures, instead of all at once. I forget what they called it, but they let it slide - just once!

The good news is, you'll be playing with a lot of other newbies, and oldies that are chippers first and card sharks second. I'd be there if I could. I can't. I have yet begun to whine!!!

BTW, all this talk of pigeons and plucking - this picture was on the front page of this morning's Reno paper. My first thought was it was a story about Trav and the upcoming CC>CC poker tourney. Turns out it was about the personal devastation experienced by roulette chip junkies. "Just one more... just one more... then I'll quit, I promise..."
