First of all my thanks to Michael Ludwig for his Cheque TV. Because of his column I finally saw Howard Hughes' production of "The Las Vegas Story" with Jane Russell, Vincent Price, Victor Mature and others. Insipid story, but who cares as the characters roam around Vegas in the early fifties. Anyway, for those of you interested in Vegas history I would highly recomend the one hour documentary "Secret History of Las Vegas" which airs tonite (Saturday) on TLC at 5PM (PDT). Now back to those gripping threads on Shannon, the Poker Tournament, and numbering systems.
