Since the collecting of SPT's is a relative new specialty. I am waiting to see what the results(actual catalogue numbers) would be on the UNS on these tokens. I for one would like to see some sort of differentiation between these tokens I collect and many other silver strikes which are out there.

According to Anchor Coin they own the rights to the word "Silver Strike". I've heard this term used long before Anchor started their program in 1992. When I first told people I collected "Silver Strikes", I was indundated by collectors and dealers offering me the older "Sterling Silver" and ".999 Silver Tokens" minted before the Anchor Coin program.

Soon, even my current numbering system will have it's problems. A close call for me was the Stratosphere and the Sahara tokens for the previous guide.

I for one am keeping an open mind on what ever the collecting community feels will work for it.
