Hello Robert...
Thank You for taking the time to describe your views. I live in Orange County. make a rather tiring drive through a long hot desert to try to get to a Vegas Chip Release in time to snatch a couple of LE's before the Locals swallow them all up <G> I pay all the expenses of that trip, take my time is scanning, posting, pay fees, etc.....I have worked really hard to be as fair as a businessman can be, even to the extent of replacing over 30 chips lost this year in the Snail Mail System at no expense to the buyer....
I have over 275 POSITIVE comments with NO negatives....I have never attempted to misrepresent an auction or falisfy the condition of a Chip.....However.....I certainly DO object to anyone contacting my winning bid and insinuating that I am less than honest.....
In this particular auction, I listed them at $45 (as I have with a current auction of another set)....considering the eBay fees at both ends....this is hardly out of line with the ones you mentioned selling for $32......once again, what is a value to one person isn't to the next....we are all free to shop around.....
People like the ones that emailed this bidder are usually the ones that are too lazy to do any of their own scans and too tight to pay the fees....they simply hide in the "woodwork" and pounce like vultures....trying to discredit someone without being willing to be on equal ground...
I wouldn't be soooo upset, but as some of you know, this has happened to me several times in the past. I'd sure like to be part of the Chipping Community, but I'm not sure where all the snakes lie yet....not sure I care to venture in the pit...
