"with my newly acquired scanning abilities, I should know this"
I got my first computer in 1978, an 8 1/2 by 11 inch circuit board with a built in 21-key keyboard and six 7-segment displays, 1K of RAM, and cassette tape storage. Had to build my own power supply just to get it going. When I first managed to key in a simple game and it worked, I thought I had this computer stuff all figured out. It's been downhill ever since. The more you learn, the more you know how little you really know (there I go treading on Bob's turf again). Knowledge is a roller coaster. But it really is a fun ride. Keep hacking at it.
