1. New/old boat now sailing from Key West. The Rendezvous which began sailing from Marco Island turned up in Key West in 12/98. It departs from the same dockage as the Max 1 which, is nowhere to be found. The boat has been leased to Vegas West & still uses the Gulfstream Gaming chipcos. NO, I ain't making the
3 1/2 hour trip each way to pick up chips.
2. The Seminole Indian tribe has stuck a deal with the city of Coconut Creek & will likely open their second casino sometime in November. No new chips as yet but I will be on the lookout.
3. Phantom boat turns up in Ft. Lauderdale. No other details given except that the city will fight the owners in court.
4. Micossukee Indian tribe in Miami completes it's hotel & convention center. This place is sure to be a big hit with tourists. It's located a zillion miles from the beach in the middle of the Everglades which is infested with large blood sucking skeeters & man eating alligators. A don't miss!
