Dave; Don't fail to get over to the Tropicana to view Steve Cutler's fantastic museum he has set up there. Boulder Dam and Lake Mead is a relatively nice short drive from Vegas. If you have more time, I would strongly recommend takng the two hour drive to Laughlin. There are 12 major casinos, all on the Colorado River, which serves as the boundary between Arizona and Nevada.. Water taxi's take you back and forth between the casinos. Beautiful desert scenery on the way out and back.
