You see, sometimes a single pair might beat a royal Flush. When is that you might ask? Usually when I hold the pair and you hold the Royal Flush. I'll be able to show you many of these rulings. I won't guarantee that all card rooms will agree but then again after you leave the room, you won't have anything more to lose so don't worry about it.
