Neal-I think I'm with you on the part about offering a "loser" bidder chips at a cheaper price after an auction; what I was refering to was what I thought the original comment starting this thread was, i.e. that someone was contacting high bidders on ebay, offering a lower price for the same chip, then the high bidders back out of a deal. My thinking is that if someone made a committment to purchase a chip at a given price(and I believe placing a bid IS a commitment), then he should honor that commitment even if someone else tries to undercut that price before they have actually paid for it. As far as who in their right mind would do that, my answer would be someone who feels their word is their bond. Perhaps my original comment got out of sequence with all the indentations and responses to responses in this thread. Mike
