Chuck...personally, I would be enthralled. Should you contact me after auction and offer the exact same item I lost on...we'd talk. After all, I'm interested in the item...they call this a hot lead in the sales community. Should your item be worthy...I'd most certainly make an offer. Just refrain from idiotic offers ala KMC.

As for eBay, I look for nothing more than an honorable transaction on both ends. I hustle to get the M/O out, you do the same when it arrives. Again, if the item is expensive...I'll request a phone number and get to know the seller. We've all been burned at some point in our lives...you just make sure that's the only time.
