Steve; If you would like to head up next year's poker tournament... if one is held.... and I sincerely hope one will be.... I would suggest that you volunteer your services to President-Elect Sarles and seek his appointment to the Poker Tournament 2000 Chairman. Yes, this year's window of opportunity IS very narrow. This was primarily due to the lateness in getting it organized. I think the organizers did a fantastic job on such relatively short notice. Considering one year's advance planning, can you imagine what the pre-registration response in the year 2000 could be, where everyone who wishes to enter can have a reasonable shot at getting a seat? Please give my well-intentioned suggestion some serious thought.
