I couldn't find how many someone in line can register.

Registration for the Poker Challenge begins at 1:00 pm on Thursday in the Orleans Poker Room. The event is limited to the first 40 members/associate members to pay a $10 entry fee plus an initial $20 buy in.

Judging from the previous threads about the Challenge on this bb, I'm willing to bet that there will be a line in the Poker room at 1:00.

Belinda explained the sign-up proceedure, about all that she left out is that a member can sign-up another member (or associate member) in case they are tending to something else at the time (like a dealer table). The format is standard Texas Hold-em tournament play, $30 buy in with a $20 re-buy within the 1st hour of play. The 40 player limit is tentative, the Orleans may be able to provide another table and dealer to begin with, we'll have to see. Also, it should be mentioned that any attempts to "harvest" the chips used in this tourney would make it certain that it will be the 1st and last event of its kind, so all tournament chip harvesters need to make an exception in this one, and leave the tables without any of these chips.
