Top, just speculation here, but the F.W.I might stand for Far West Indies, or Free West Indies???

I had a neighbor when I was a kid that lived previously in the Caribbean when it was called the West Indies. Perhaps the Caribbean chip experts on the board can verify or dispel this hunch.

Otherwise, don't know...but it's an interesting chip.
