Allan, I assure you that we did not take a cheap shot with the title. We are marketing the book outside of the chip hobby in hopes of getting more collectors into the hobby. (The Antique Trader is not the only national magazine our book will appear in.) In fact, we have used an entire page of our book as a membership application to join the Club. We thought our title might encourage those not into the hobby already to be more inclined to take the book seriously. When you have a chance to actually read the book, you will find that we have said many nice things about you and have given you and your co-authors the respect you so richly deserve for what you have done for the hobby. We just felt the time had come for a better, more comprehensive book. We felt color pictures were necessary, along with a rarity rating of every chip. The other thing that has always bothered me about the Chip Rack, is that only Nevada chips were listed. We wanted to include other areas of the country, so that as much information as possible could be contained in one source. By the way, we DO list Nevada roulettes. We did not list LE's. Perhaps that was a mistake. Even though the majority are worth face value, I believe we may reconsider our position on these. I hope that I have addressed your concerns properly. Best Wishes, Steve.
