Tom. I had a fairly valuable chip that was warped. It was a hat and cane. I preheated the oven to 200 degrees. I put the chip on a saucer (flat) then put a saucer on top of it. You could feel the warp as the saucer would rock, but the rim on the bottom of the saucer would hold up the saucer after the chip became strait. I put the chip in the oven for about 10 minutes. I took it out and let it cool on top, then removed the top saucer. It worked for me. I was concerned that the weigth would squash the chip, so I was happy with the use of the "rim". You can test during the process by "rocking" the top saucer. Good Luck!
