I see others are responding who might not know what this whole debate
is about. They seem to pick out your harsh words about us geezers.
You tell me I am a geezer but I know you. After writting on here all day I have
had my fill & feel like a geezer. You did make some very vivid points.
Everyone, as I wrote to Jim P earlier & said, collects diferently.
Apparently many folks I will call them, like LE's & cheap chips.
I have collected for years & am beyond that but we all start somewhere.
Luckily you have been able to acquire rare chips from your grandparents
collection & appreciate the Vegas stuff. Find some more of those ashtrays.
Well thanks for the post but oh geez! They are talking.
Condition is important & my clients reflect that. There are certain groups
of collectors who clan together & they are into their own think, LE's etc
cheap chips & condition doesnt matter. It will, the hobby is young.
Everyone on this board looks at the first bad comment then escalates it & then everyone else jabbers about it. Time to go party!
