Jim -- You've failed to interpret my posts. All I'm saying is that if anyone has a point to get across concerning this hobby and its future, it should be put in front of the whole membership (as timing is very important) along with what's posted here and over the hundreds of e-mails in the last few days. I have not expressed that James or Steve write to the Editor in any post -- I simply said if anyone has something to say, now is the time before deadline. Why the club magazine, you ask? Because it's the best source of information (educational and otherwise) I know of pertaining to US. Now, for my $1.450 chip and why (in your words - which you are not fooling anyone): "I could understand why you would support a standard of grading" is not interpreted in any of my posts if you read them correctly. All I'm saying is that the way you want a chance to be heard, so do others, and we have the freedom to do so, but we must look at this openly. As far as the Cal-Neva chip goes. The last one sold for $1.800 (and it makes no difference what the 6-pieces sold for in last weeks's fire sale in Minden), and I have the same chip in a much lesser grade for $900 if you're interested <g>. Do you get the picture, now, Jim??? I'll keep saying it till the last person carries the flag: "WE NEED A STAMNDARD FORM OF COMMUNICATION" - not we need a standard of grading. Again, I've never mentioned that in my posts. As far as what the officers elect stand for: I do not know...and, whatever it may be, it's not the end of our hobby or club. John M. (Pompano): I like the Grade "A" Brown eggs in Publix Supermarket. <G>
