Just a message that policing is an art! There is a proper way to do it, one that is effective and appreciated by those who are policed. There is also a manner that is not only improper but brings to a lower level all who are associated with those who go beyond what is worthwhile and valuable. While I am sure some of you who police the chip community are sincere in your efforts, there are some whom I feel are using very poor judgement in messages to those making mistakes in their listings of chips.
Personally I have been the recipient of several of these messages, because I, unlike some of the elite of the chip world make mistakes! Some of these messages have been very tactful and sincere in there desire to correct often innocent mistakes, and have been appreciated. As I am not one of the elite in this area I often use information from inaccurate sources. I have however, received messages that frankly make me wonder who the hell the person thinks they are that is emailing me!!! I would hope in this growing hobby if you are going to be the cop, you realize that you represent all of us in the hobby and do it with tact and the true desire to help!
