Where was the original El Rancho Vegas located? What stands there now? Isn't there a story involving organized crime syndicate regarding that particular location and the suspected fire. Something along the line that there would NEVER be another casino built on that location. Anyone care to clarify?

Were the properties Last Frontier and Flamingo where the casino are currently located now?

I'm interested in finding out more about Vegas during the 30s-60s and what properties have changed hands. I've got a few books that have been helpful but will always take recommendations.
