Re: One of a kind Error question

Greg,

I have been through the BJ plant. There are a lot of errors. I saw an LE being run, that must have had 300 errors tossed aside. Quality control employees are supposed to sort them out. Bud Jones is a fanatic about errors getting out. He also watches very close to see that employees do not take them after they are pulled from the run.

I am told, at the Paul-Son plant in Mexico, when a $5 chip is being run, it is very common to get a $5 inlay on one side and a number of $25 inlays on the obverse when the run changes to $25 chips. Again quality control employees pull them, in most cases.

Since we find very few mistakes, the process must work pretty good.
