Either my memory is failing me or I remember there was mention of a plan on the CC&GTCC site that sometime in the future the BB would be a closed site for only members.

Currently, the BB is listed as the "CC&GTCC Official Message Board". Which means airing out club problems there, yet it is there for the whole world to read.

Given that it is the Official message board shouldn't there future plans for closing the site to "MEMBERS ONLY"?

I see the club officers complaing about people "airing out official club business" on public messages boards. Unfortunately, this is going to happen no matter what the club wants. However, if the club board is made private then the club officials and members could direct reply to the posts on public boards regarding club business should be posted there and the officers and members could debate these sort of things there more privately and give the club officials a "private forum" for answering and discussing members concerns.

I for one do like to see and hear about the things that concern our members instead of those concerns being spoken about in whispers, if it concerns the membership at large.(I know not a good analogy).
