Bill Akeman has always been one of the nicest people in "chipping", and very helpful to me when I began collecting several years ago. He has lost a bundle of money on Gaming Times magazine, and is doing all possible to keep it afloat. This is why it changed from color to B & W, and probably why the number of pages has been reduced. Let's hope that Bill can keep it going, as the magazine is very important to our hobby.
I have heard that free copies of Gaming Times are always available at the meetings of the Las Vegas chapter. I have no knowledge of who subscribes and who does not, but if some people are enjoying free copies like that, they might consider subscribing to help Bill keep the magazine alive.
