The Wednesday, October 28, 1998 issue of USA Today had a near full page article on the upcoming vote entitled "Calif. voters hold the cards on gamining initiative" including some photos of the Sho-Ka-Wah Casino located near San Francisco (a small map is even provided for orientation purposes only).

I checked the USA web site, and the article is no longer on line, but can be downloaded from the archive files (for a small fee - which I declined).
