Doug, Here is some additional information for you. The Commerce Casino is located directly off of I-5 in the City of Commerce which is part of Los Angeles. It is approximately 10 or 15 minulte from downtown (depending on traffic.) It is the largest card room in the world with 200 plus tables. They have two main sections. One is for regular poker and the other for the Chinese games (E.g. Pai-Gow, Pan 9, Chinese Poker etc.) Stakes start from $3.00-$6.00 all the way up.
The chips range in value as follows: $0.25 (obsolete), $0.50 (hot stamped, but very dirty an unreadable most of the time. (2)$1.00 chips. One with a metal inset and the other with a bird of paradise inset, $2,00, $3.00, $5.00, $10.00, $25.00 and of course the $100 and $500 chips. They may have other denominations, but I don't know what they are. They will also be building a huge 1st class
hotel attached to the casino.
