I don't know how others determine chip colors but I found that I was also using simplified color descriptions and was occasionally confused by these descriptions from others during trades. I solved this problem by getting a set of Paul-son color masters (thanks Don). While, of course, they don't describe every imaginable color, they do give an excellent guide to the most popular colors. Can you tell the difference between Plum, Purple, Rose and Fushia?
