I've been to Mel's house and he needs to:

1. Rewire the internal wiring for his telephone. He's got too much noise, interference,... something.
2. Buy an iMac for those 50+ people. His PC is too confusing for even me and I doubt that scanner will ever be hooked up.
3. Get rid of Prodigy and sign up with a real ISP.
4. While he's add it, being in N. California he could remodel his home which would only cost $500K for a two bedroom, 1,000 sq foot single family home.

Mel's got serious problems with his phone/PC. He said he did the internal wiring for the phone which is the first problem.

Now if he sold off all his chips, he could do the above. ;-)
